Who will be in charge of interest rates?

Claudia Sahm is an American macroeconomist. She worked for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in various roles from about 2007 to 2019. Sahm holds a PhD in economics from the University of Michigan (2007) and a BA in economics, political science & German from Denison University (1998). She is currently (or recently) Chief Economist at New Century Advisors and founder of her own consulting firm, Sahm Consulting.
